Gradivex is an educational platform for learning about AI. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We keep it short because we collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google or GitHub: your name, email address, and profile picture.
- When you sign in with an email link: your email address.
- As you learn: which lessons and protocols you complete, your XP, rank, badges, streak, and activity dates.
How we use it
Only to run the platform: to sign you in, save your progress, show your rank and badges, and, if you choose to be visible, display you on the leaderboard and your public profile.
Where your data lives
- Database: Neon (PostgreSQL).
- Hosting: Vercel.
- Email delivery: Resend (only to send sign-in links).
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookies we set are the essential ones needed to keep you signed in.
What’s public and what isn’t
If public visibility is on (you can turn it off any time in your profile), other people can see your name, avatar, XP, rank, badges, completed lessons, and activity. Your Compute balance, email address, and sign-in provider are never public. Turn visibility off and you disappear from both the leaderboard and public profiles.
Your rights
You can view your data on your profile, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Age
Gradivex is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you believe a younger child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
